Mother of the Vilebrood, an army of evil creatures that lives below the surface.

Tenets of Faith

1. Revere the Broodmother’s Darkness: Followers must honor Gatara’s powers of creation and destruction, seeing all life and death as her gift and curse to the world. The Vilebrood is sacred, for each creature is born of her essence.
2. Spread Her Corruption: Devotees are tasked with sowing fear and corruption, bringing Gatara’s taint to the surface world. Followers are expected to spread her influence subtly or with force, as the Broodmother demands.
3. Serve the Tal-Gatath: The demigods and demons birthed by Gatara, known as the Tal-Gatath, are revered as her divine emissaries. Mortal followers must serve them loyally, following their commands as they would Gatara’s own voice.
4. Embrace the Cycle of Consumption: Followers are taught to respect the cycle of predation and decay. Consuming the weak, whether through subjugation or devouring them, is encouraged to embody Gatara’s principles of strength and survival.
5. Guard the Depths: Protect the underworld lairs and tunnels where Gatara’s spawn breed and thrive. Followers must defend these sacred spaces from any who would desecrate them, ensuring the Broodmother’s army remains hidden until the time of conquest.
