Letter from Aiwen to Maylin

Maylin,   You are the definition of a sweet summer child. You are a ray of sunshine for our family. I have loved growing up with you and Jacaerys, you both are the best of friends I could ever ask for. I'm sure you heard some of the arguments your Mom's and I have been having regarding the family, we're I'm not exactly quiet about it. I believe and stand with my Mother's ideals in helping others, so in order to protect the ones I hold closest to my heart, I've decided to leave the city and do just that. I will never forget our countless adventures throughout the city, "sneaking" into the druid grove and got caught but they pretended they didn't see us, working together in the bakeries and even the calmer times of hanging by a fire braiding each others hair.
One day, Maylin, you'll find your voice, and when that day comes use it wisely. Always protect yourself and the family. The Sovereign has done enough damage to our family and name, as your mothers told me, we shouldn't give them more ammunition. I promise to return home to you and Jacaerys one day. I don't know when that day will happen or how long it'll take, but I promise you it will happen. Remember I'm always with you and I love you.
