Lochagos Stingal is somewhat unique among the inhabitants of the Shield of Life; he is Unmade. Emery Stingal is one of the rare individuals that, upon the transformation to Unmade, resisted the loss of his individual personality and retained his sense of self. He is even more rare in that he was able to escape an immediate execution by his Unmade captors and make his way to the Shield of Life .
Lochagos Stingal is an extremely professional and able captain to the troops of Castle Blackfist. Those that do not know him find that he is extremely tough, cold, and unemotional and usually distrust the fact that he is Unmade. He has the utmost trust and support of Commander Sandip Isaacson as well as the veterans of his garrison. Nobody has beaten him in a spar, even though he will spar with anyone who challenges him.
