Creation of the Old God and the Great Divide

"The blackness of the world was immense, and its expanse void of life or movement. Then there was one."

In the darkness there came to be a being simply known as The Old God. It was restless and powerful, it needed to both create and destroy. Its very being was conflicted, for it contained the power of action and choice. So it decided to split itself, sorting its desires and abilities into two entities. This event is known as "The Great Divide".
