It is a place where death exists around every corner, most people live in tiny apartments in the Lower Districts, and everyone is expectated to slave away for the corporations.
Life is meaningless here, and if you die or stop working, no one will bat an eye, and you will be replaced within the day. You are absolutely worthless, and even those who make a name for themselves only do so in the most drastic ways possible.
