Dark Brotherhood

The Dark Brotherhood was eradicated in Skyrim in 4th era 204, when Jarl Tolsirion MacLyon the Dragonborn killed Astrid, the Dark Brotherhood leader in an abandoned cabin where she ordered him to kill hostages.  He chose to kill her instead.  
He learned of Commander Maro of the Penitus Oculatus, and reported Astrid's Death.  The password was discovered and given to Tolsirion, and he was able to invade the Sanctuary and kill every assassin in the place.  
Later when Daelistra Mournblade arrived, Tolsirion asked her to alert her Morag Tong associates to inhabit the sanctuary. The Morag Tong moved into Skyrim and took the place of the dark brotherhood.   Eventually Daelistra became the leader of them in Skyrim.  Daelistra was the one who assassinated the Emperor.  Not in the name of the Dark Brotherhood, but of the Morag Tong.

Structure

Currently Daelistra is the Master and Nazir is the second in command.

Public Agenda

Still offering Assassination services to those who contract out the Morag Tong.  She does not hear the Black Sacrament.

Assets

Since the Dark Brotherhood was destroyed by Jarl Tolsirion MacLyon the Dragonborn they no longer have holdings.  The former Dark Brotherhood sanctuary is now funded by the Morag Tong.
