Tabaxi

These cat-kin people known for their agility and quick wits. This is tempered with an insatiable curiosity, wanderlust and soft spot for pretty, valuable items that often leads to trouble. With these natural talents and proclivities tabaxi make skilled entertainers, cunning thieves and deadly warriors. All those not born on the Elderwood mainland or on The Desiccated Isle possess somewhere on their person a discreet brand of unknown origin even to themselves. Their natural curiosity and restlessness precludes the formation of permeant Tabaxi settlements. Instead whole communities travel the world in caravans atop and pulled by their giant beetle beasts of burden. When these tabaxi caravans hove into an area they may rest for a time, ply exotic wares picked up on their travels wares and trade their skills for the supplies needed to continue. However often these caravans are not welcome despite the Tabaxi's rules on hospitality.  A greed for wealth and cunning mind can often leave tabaxi on the wrong side of local law. This is compounded with the caravans reputation as prolific fences and smugglers of "spice" and "sugar"
