Styrt's Mage Guild

The Styrt Mage Guild is open to all provided that they pass a holy divinity test, to ensure the light within them burns for good and has not withered into a dark flame.
The holy divinity test, checks a characters alignment, and so long as it is Neutral or Good it may enter the guild, Evil Creatures are deemed self-centered and they are denied access.

Structure

Magemaster Einhalt: Runs the guild.
Magemaster's Council: Decides Rulings on behaviors within the guild.
Master: Name Teaches a school of magic, Holds a place on the Master's council.
Expert Mage: Name May be a teaching assistant, may be working towards becoming a master themselves.
Adept Mage: Name Somone who has surpassed their beginning teachings. (Full spell casters start here)
Novice Mage: Name New mages. (Half-Casters start here, as well as those who pick up a feat to start using magic.)

Culture

Lawful: Rules are strict and must be adhered to, however due to the exploratory nature of the school, the number of rules have been limited.
Rule 1: Do no harm to another member outside of sparing (Limited to when the other member is testing their defensive capabilities.)
Rule 2: Take your studies seriously. This means attendance of classes or field studies and will require assessments of what has been learned by your respective master.
Rule 3: Be Ready when The Light Calls Upon You All members are flagged with the reserved tag, meaning that they can be called on to serve at anytime for what the guild needs.

Public Agenda

Anyone in the local area can petition the guild for support and decision are reviewed on a monthly (The 30th) of each month.

History

Founded by William Helm(A Human Mage from Arindor), in 352 ED The guild acted as an extension of the order of light, and placed restriction on those with ill will. Accepting applicants of an Evil nature did not start until after Master Helms passing.
