The Kraken and respective priests were the only evil still rearing it's head in the land. After the death General Nessel, one of his most trusted advisors, and most milataristically skilled generals, and long time friend. Lord Leopold took it upon himself to name the island after General Nessel, so that his name could never be forgotten. The Kingdom of Arindor while originally against the idea of Nesselbane becoming a seperate country, however they accepted it without military force on the grounds that Lord Leopold was the son of the reiging queen. (Name the Queen of Arindor 355).
Lord Leopold was a strong man, with a slender muscular build, who's fighting style used finesse with his longsword "Lightbringer." He also
used a shield and had a unique set of armor that made him resistant to necrotic and fire damage, and take reduced damage from non magical slashing, and piercing attacks made against him, while a blow to his chest while wearing his armor is what finally did him in, during the sack of Styrt in 370,
The half-elf king died at the age of at the young age of 85. The sack
of Styrt occured when a group of thieves, burglars, and assassins, grouped together, they used the cities, sewage system, to plan their attacks, seeming to sprout out of nowhere into homes, businesses and the like all over town, after the town was taken, it was only briefly held, lasting for just less than a day, before the order gathered, and took back the kings hall, after the Kings death he was laid to rest in the Jungle Temple Sarcophogus in a Crypt that was designed as a burial place for the current members of the order of light. His body was lost in the years following as no one seems to know where it is now. He was said to have been buried in his armor, and he was likely the target of
grave robbers, who in the years since, had taken advantage of the lack of security as more and more diplomatic issues arose. It is rumored
that his gear lay at the bottom of the sea, after a pirate ship was seen, with what appeared to be Leopold's body, sinking in the Mid Ocean between all 3 continents. What remains of his body, and armor are unknown, and no one knows if they will ever be recovered.
