He was taught from a young age that one day he would meet a lovely lady and settle down and have children of his own. as Haraldr grew up, he found himself uninterested in females he would meet on market days. Though the men he found quite attractive, but he would never admit it aloud, or truly acknowledge it. It was not what he had been taught, but it was how he felt.

Mostly self taught. His parents taught him the basics of reading and writing. He learned to brew form his family's business.

Working at the brewery involved tending to crops, harvesting, distilation, fermentation, time management, marketing, haggling, and general cutomer service and relations.
