Wankel Vanderbuildt, with eyes sharp and bright, Blessed with the vision, to see in the night.   His mother, Lillian, with shadowgrass fed, Gave him the gift, to see where others dread. His father, Konrad, a man of great pride, Raised him with honor, with Sarenrae as guide.   In Lichtberg’s seminary, his path was set, To serve as a priest, his destiny met. But war called him forth, to the Musketeers’ side, As a battle medic, in the Empire’s stride.   In the Grain War’s shadow, his faith was tried, Seeing the horrors, where innocence died. The Empire’s greed, for grain and for land, Left Wankel in anguish, unable to stand.   At Zoloty Polia, and Zlatoreka’s siege, He healed the wounded, amidst the war’s grieve. But the Empire’s cruelty, to civilians so dear, Left Wankel in torment, his heart full of fear.   He resigned in disgust, from the army’s cruel hand, Seeking redemption, in a peaceful land. Haunted by memories, of battles so grim, He turned to Sarenrae, to find solace within.   In Fatun’s small village, his journey began, With Ragnar and Brasco, they formed a brave clan. Fighting goblins and dragons, undead and more, Wankel’s healing light, a beacon in war.   To Ostenwald next, their path did lead, Hunting owlbears, for the Empress’s need. In trials and tests, their skills were honed, Wankel’s faith and courage, brightly shone.   In the mound of cultists, his rapier did gleam, Saving Elsbeth, from a dark, twisted dream. With Brasco’s departure, their numbers did wane, But Wankel pressed on, through sorrow and pain.   In burning villages, and battles so fierce, Wankel’s healing touch, did wounds pierce. With Thallion’s arrival, their strength renewed, Against hobgoblins and devils, their courage grew.   In the Baron’s estate, where darkness did dwell, Wankel’s light shone bright, breaking the spell. Freeing the servants, from mechanical chains, Defeating the devils, ending their reigns.   Through trials and battles, his legend did grow, In the annals of history, his deeds will show. For Wankel Vanderbuildt, with heart pure and true, His courage and valor, forever renew.
