Aethyric Whirlpool

What is an Aethyric Whirlpool

An Aethyric Whirlpool is a point where all of the streams of magic meld together evenly, creating a massive pool of flowing energy. These pools are visible to the naked eye.

What does an Aethyric Whirlpool look like?

They are surrounded by a fog that grows thicker as the center is approached. Like a hurricane, the fog protecting a whirlpool has an 'eye' that is clear of the energy laden vapors. Once the eye is reached the eye is visible as a dome of pale white light.

What is in the pool?

Past the wall of light the world is lush and full of life with motes of energy of all colors and hues drifting in the still air. It is utterly silent, except for the distant roar similar to what you would hear from a waterfall or a whirlpool.
