Froamander (Fro-a-man-der)
Froamanders are known as ice lizards. They are big lizards that live in swamp and can attack you on sight. If you notice ice statues, be cautious of the entire herd that lives there. They can freeze you solid.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Froamander is a large lizard with four legs. On the feet, has four finger-like appendages with circular rounded tips and webbing between them. It has a two-foot-long tail on its back and many little clear crystal-like spikes in two rows that run up its back parallel to its lower neck. The Froamander has two deep dark blue eyes and razor-sharp teeth. The body is completely black, with teal spots all over the body in different shape.
Biological Traits
Offensively
Froamanders have a sharp bite to watch out for, but what is more dangerous and well known for is their frigid breath. An chilly mist streams out their mouth, like a cloud of frost and ice. Sharp tiny ice shards break through their target and chill them down. So anything in front of it need to watch out They also use Ice magic, which allows them to generate Ice spikes to fire at distant flows. They are well-balanced magical beasts in combat.Defense
Froamanders have extraordinarily thick, elastic skin. This makes it difficult for any physical attack to penetrate their skin and hurt them. Then, if they sense they are in danger, they will use their magic to produce an ice sheen over their body, making it difficult to hit them and slowing any foe who approaches them. They are naturally resistant to all ice magic, but severely vulnerable to all fire magic.Mobility
Froamanders can swim underwater and hold their breath for up to an hour. They are superb swimmers because of the webbing in their feet and their slippery skin. They are rather ordinary on walking and running on land for a huge lizard breed. The unusual feature is that they can sprint on top of water using their powers and the tips of their fingers. They can't stand on the water, but they can run across it like it's solid. So, in a swampy environment, Froamanders do not need to slow down unless there is a tree in their way.

Female froamanders will seek out an area of the swamp to lay their eggs in the water, and a meal will fertilize them. Where the egg will remain buried under water for six months.
Growth Rate & Stages
Froamanders hatch and are around a foot long snake-like creatures. They'll swim about and thrive together. It takes about a year for them to develop the lizard shape that they are known for and make it to land. Then, during the next two years, they'll expand to their full size, as the develop their frost breath.
Ecology and Habitats
Froamanders prefer to reside in swampy or chilly wet regions. The largest population was discovered in Chilline Swamps. They enjoy places that are chilly and muggy most of the year and have plenty of fresh water. They live place that are cood but not made ice.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Froamanders eat algae, fruits, vegetables, insects, and small animals as they grow. That will take care of the majority of its body's essential functions. It also eats grass, plants, and fungi, which provide nitrogen for its frost breast.
Biological Cycle
Froamanders are active throughout the year, but during the warmest portion of the summer, they spend a lot of time in water. Their skin dries out because to the heat, therefore they like to stay in the water to keep it cool and moist.

Know the Froamander is use for several task by the Republic of Aerohallow. TThey are utilized in a variety of essential locations to provide emergency cooling. That includes the boiler room, pipes, and reactor. To cool down these place extremely quick and create a safe environment for them to work in. They are also used in blacksmithing to create what is known as Flash Freeze Smitty. You work at a lower temperature on the metal and then have the master breathe their frigid breath on it, quickly lowering the temperature. If done correctly, it will significantly increase the metal's durability and ability to keep an edge for longer periods of time. If not done correctly, it will shatter. Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Froamanders possess a keen sense of smell. They can recognize territories, other pheromones, and substances in their surroundings. They use their sense of smell to find these and other animals in their area. They can detect both aquatic and aerial scents. Giving them a broad horizon to decide what is coming for them or what they are looking for. Froamanders have excellent vision that can see in the ultraviolet range and underwater. Their vision on land is still good, although they cannot see as far as Salamanders. Their eyes have exceptionally good dark vision. Their hearing isn't great because they all have the opercularis system, which is similar to frogs. They can hear sounds in the air, but they aren't good at locating them or using them for anything else.
