The other crystals in the world but they rarer and found in unusual locations. Probably just one or two parts in the world.

Refinement

Lay Line Crystals must be Refinement regardless of their intended use. If you try to employ it in its natural state, it will overpower any magic and generate a backlash on you and your surroundings. So handle it with care and get it processed into whatever you intend to use it for.

To improve the layline crystal, first remove it from a high magical area. The second is to use a magical circle, which is intended to stabilize magical energy. The length of time depends on the size of the crystal and the amount of mana it contains. You might also use folks who are skilled at handling magical energy to speed up the procedure. Now, the technique must be performed away from any active magic or powerful enchantments. Most day-to-day enchantments should be alright, but it's ideal to have a secure environment. If it begins to stabilize and then a wave of magical energy passes through, it will cause massive explosions or other unknown events.
