R Wave Shades

R Wave Shades are useful for explorers, archaeologists, and treasure hunters alike. They are employed to prevent Ruins from being mistakenly viewed and activated. As long shade is on, you will be able to view and ruin it without activating it. You can try to deactivate it or move on without worrying.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

On the type of lens that is placed inside the goggles or glasses. It will keep a certain magical signature from reaching your eyes. It will either focus on a specific school of magic or a particular elemental of magic. This either prevents any Ruin Magic from activating or gives you a +5 against any visual magic of that school or element type. This work because the lense blocking specific mana wave frequency.
