The Fade is a virus that take the color away from the Gnomes. It magical engineer virus from unknow sources
Transmission & Vectors
It transmitted by Gnome to Gnome through bodily fluids. Until the final stage of the virus, with on the 4th week.
Symptoms
- Hair color turns black or brown.
- Eye color goes brown
- Hair loss is gravity defining feature
- the magical aura color goes to dull version of it
- Side effect Depression
Treatment
The only treatment is a blessing from one of the gods or goddesses but that requires a high priest/ess and a powerful ritual. For a Virus that does harm you. so it takes a lot of convincing to do. There's been some that been work on a cure but they only develop a method that will stop it in the stage it in 40% of the time the other 60% no effect.
Prognosis
So the two-way ether got from someone or someone gave it to you. in the next couple weeks, the hair starts to change color. In the 3rd week, the eyes start changing to a dark brown as the hair color know close to black or dark brown and starts to use its shape and laying flat. know in the 4th week it not contagious the hair know fully black or Dark Brown. the eyes are almost fully dark brown. Then the Magical aura has started to lose its brightness and becoming more of a dull color. it will all be done in 5 weeks. Most Gnomes fall into A depression state that they loss the spark and unique.
Affected Groups
The only spevces this effect are Gnomes. This virus was made to target them. It is still unknown who or why this was done.
Prevention
Don't share fluid with anyone that infected. It still unknown how the creator made and infected targets show there no way to prevent it.
Epidemiology
at first, it will move fast in the first week some infected. The higher population the area fast it will move. When its figures out their outbreak have happened quarantine and safety measure are put into place. in 3 to 4 weeks it stops.
Cultural Reception
Gnome are terrified of it. They live in a world with curiosity color and wonder. want to see and understand the world. show when they get The Faded they feel like something inside died. they lose what makes them look unique. they feel like they are boring and lame like the other races. So they are afraid of viruses.
