Steam Engine
Steam engines operate by using a boiler that is heated by fire. It is filled with charcoal or another locally available resource. As the boiler heats up, steam enters the pipes, causing the piston to move back and front to make the wheels move. In recent years, it has been discovered that if they heat up more or make the Pistons more contained, they will be more powerful to pull more carriages at quicker speeds. Steam engines have the ability to travel at speeds ranging from 25 miles per hour to 115 miles per hour. They are utilized for all forms of travel, and this type of Engine has proven to be a valuable asset to kingdoms and the world.Magi Steam Engine
The Magi steam engine functions similarly to a steam engine. The primary distinction is that its fuel source is fire wielders. fire mages heat the boiler keeping it at a specific temperature. The advantage of employing this engine is the lower fuel cost. You don't have to buy or forget a resource because the Mage are it fuel. The disadvantage is that they cannot keep it as hot or as long as a standard steam engine. That's because Mage has a limited quantity of mana, and they don't always put 100% consistent heat on it. As a result, these engines are typically utilized for short-distance or mid-distance transport for those who want to enjoy a journey. They will travel at speeds ranging from 25 to 80 miles per hour. Most kingdoms employ this for short-distance food and resource transportation and people travel. It also does not have the capacity to pull as many carts as the steam engine.Hurricane Engine
The hurricane engine is a unique invention that uses wind magic to propel the train. So you'll need wind wielders who can generate a steady and consistent airflow. That will blow into the engine, changing the gears and moving the pistons, causing it to acquire speed pretty quickly. This engine produces the same boom as the Magi steam engine. Because the fuel is wind mages, you don't need any additional resources. This engine accelerates from 30 miles per hour to 100 miles per hour. The disadvantage of this engine is that the wind mage must maintain a consistent stream, which varies depending on the power and mana of each caster. They don't usually last long. As a result, this type of engine is generally used for short trips between cities and towns.Ding Ding Engine
The Ding Ding Engine is a newcomer to the world of engines. The Pistons themselves are used to propel the wheels in this engine. By providing the piston with two flat regions on each end. Then add a Bounce enchantment to the Pistons and the surface it will touch. It will begin to ricochet back and forth, forming an extremely fast locomotive. The difficulty with this piston is that it moves incredibly quickly and has the potential to damage itself. As a result, you must change the parts on a regular basis. The engine features several pistons, each with a different distance to travel. The speed of the engine is determined by the distance the piston travels and its casing. The conductor will be able to vary engine speeds by shifting gears. So each tube has a fixed speed. The faster the train will go, the shorter the tube the piston is in. The fastest tube travels at 163 mph, while the slowest tube travels at 40 mph. This, engine hopefully, will one day replace the steam engine as the most common engine.
Armor and defense
Obviously, there will be several sorts of locks on the cargo doors. To secure the train, most train companies have either a security team or adventurers guard the train incase a monster or bandit attacks it. Some countries or firms even pay adventurers or have guards patrol the rails to keep monsters and bandits at bay. Some of the more valuable trains will be equipped with magical traps. A jail transport train with gravity enchantments exists. Anyone who escapes their holding cell will trigger an enactment that will build a field around them that will make their body three times heavier. These are the most standard train defenses.
The different kinds of magical engines are fascinating!
Thanks, I am glad you like them. I had a great time creating the various magical engine
