Pixie (Pick-see)
Pixies are a small, mischievous, childish, humanoid species that shares ancestors with elves, fairies and leprechauns.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Pixies are small, occasionally chubby elf-like fairies. They glow a pale green or blue around their bodies. When matured, they have the form of a scaled down short, chubby human. Their eyes have no sclera and their irises are the colour of their glow.

Genetics and Reproduction
Pixies reproduce sexually, and the females carry the youth for under one season before giving birth.
Growth Rate & Stages
From birth to death, pixies grow to only x2 of their original size.
Ecology and Habitats
The majority of pixies are dispersed throughout the United Kingdom. They live around abandoned human monuments, and occasionally in forests.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Complimenting their silly nature, pixies prefer sweet foods, like berries and sugar, and they are herbivore.
Biological Cycle
The number one cause for premature deaths in pixies is the cold. Considering they don't wear clothes, they often die from frostbite.
Additional Information
Domestication
Pixies are commonly kept as pets by humans. They are mischievous and have to be professionally trained, an even then, they will still misbehave. The reason why they are good pets is because they are cute, small, and happy. They started being tamed by humans around the mid 1850s.
Uses, Products & Exploitation
Pixie dust, found in pixie burrows and colonies, is often taken and sprinkled on warriors before a battle. This, however, is only a superstition. Pixie dust does smell alluring, so it's used in several perfumes and colognes.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Europe
Northwestern Asia
Polynesia
Average Intelligence
Slightly less intelligent than fairies, pixies have an IQ of 81.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Despite their wings being too petite to allow them to fly, they do so anyways. Pixies can perform minor spells, all related to mischief.
Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
Pixies cannot speak English and therefore do not give each other names. As pets, pixies are commonly given misspelled variants of common human names. For example, Sharlitte instead of Charlotte or Lewcuss instead of Lucas.
Gender Ideals
Pixies do not incorporate gender roles into their society.
Courtship Ideals
They will give another pixie that they are interested in mating with an orchid. After copulating, the pixies will likely not have further relations.
Relationship Ideals
Pixies goof around and pull pranks on their relatives with their friends. If an invasive species comes, they will also prank them unless they need to evade them.
Common Dress Code
Pixies usually wear a small elf's hat. Most make their own, but some steal them from baby elves. In Europe and Polynesia, pixies are completely naked other than their hats, but in Asia they wear raggedy robes.
