Character Creation: Races
What a huge undertaking it has been to create custom race, background and class configurations for this campaign. With that being said, I’m sure it’s not perfect, some abilities many be unbalanced. While deciding how to put your character together please reach out if you have any questions or if you feel an ability is too weak or too strong. Also, as DM I reserve the right to alter features even after we start playing if I feel they are underbalanced.
Human
Your generic human being, born on Earth and fed with potatoes.
As a human your age greatly determines your capabilities. If you choose for your character to be beyond the average adult age, use this table to determine any additional bonuses or penalties to your Ability Scores.

Primary Directive
Humans have been afraid of artificial intelligence since its conception. When androids were first developed the Global Defense Organization there was major discussion about the rights of A.I. and what kind of restrictions could be placed on these new consciousnesses. They never came to agreement however and the androids that exist largely have their own agency, however some corporations designed a set of principles to guide their androids’ decisions. Feel free to make up a list of morals your character would follow. One of the most common lists is Asimov’s Rules of Robotics.
- A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
- A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
- A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
FEAT: Constructed Resilience
You were created to have remarkable fortitude, represented by the following benefits:
- You have advantage on saving throws against being poisoned, and you have resistance to poison damage.
- You don't need to eat, drink, or breathe.
- You are immune to disease.
- You don't need to sleep
When you take a long rest, you must spend at least six hours in an inactive, motionless state, rather than sleeping. In this state, you appear inert, but it doesn't render you unconscious, and you can see and hear as normal.
FEAT: Common Conectivity
Androids have better access to information and methods of communication. When using the Asking Terra ability (see The Eden Project article) you may utilize the first 4 results. Additionally, having an android on the team and access to earpieces allows all party members to communicate almost telepathically. To a range of 1 mile, and while you can breathe you may communicate as a free action to the entire party. This does not make noise as it doesn't involve actually speaking. This feature works for mute and deaf characters as well by sensing and sending vibrations directly from your throat and jaw.
Racial Classes
In addition to your regular class options, you must choose either the A.D.A.M. or E.V.E. racial class. How to integrate these classes will be described in the Android Racial Classes article, but here’s a quick introduction to each. A.D.A.M. or Advanced Defense and Attack Machines were built as soldiers, construction workers, lumberjacks, and bodyguards. E.V.E. or Environmental Variable Engines were built as everything else, caregivers, assistants, decoys. A.D.A.M.s look like a robot with a humanoid shape. E.V.E.s look nearly human, in fact its really hard to tell.
Availability
Only one android is allowed at a time during Phase One. Available to all during Phase Two and Three.
