Just days before The Nothing, the illegitimate child of King Luke Ekl of The Grand Palace and Light and Krad Stoll of Earth Royalty was born. In retaliation, Queen Sineya Ekl who was Noxe of The Grand Palace and Sound ordered the loss of Krad's Elementia. To everyone's shock and dismay, the process killed her. Krad's other daughter, Krad Shaw, killed Sineya and Luke. She took Maya, now an orphan, and the daughter of Luke and Sineya, Mara Ekl. Maya believes that she is Maya Curran. The born daughter of Krad Curran and full-blooded sister of Mara Curran. Mara is superboy and Maya is the invisible girl in their family. Krad's friend, Kor Stoll, is like an aunt to the "sisters". As a kid, Maya didn't get along with Kor's son Doog. Ever since he started dating Mara, he's been like her older brother. She runs cross country and track with Mara and her other friend Emma. The three of them (plus Ben?) go to college at ?. One day she will be a (writer?). She got good enough grades in high school to a go to a good enough college. She was always happy following in Mara's shadow in high school but she is getting sick of it. No more being known as Mara's younger sister. That's all she wants.
