Gate Warden Durnham

Archmage and sage of Candlekeep and Gatewarden. He is a dwarf with a long beak-like nose and thick lensed glasses with dark rims made of a metal similar to the doors of the Candlekeep. He has an almost photographic memory and is a studious note taker and rule keeper. He assures that the Gates function in an orderly manner.
