Platinum Order

The special military arm of the Shining Coast famed for their formidable warrior and menacing temple ships.

Composition

Manpower

The Platinum Order is broken down into 10 sub legions with standing forces of 1 commmander, 1 Master Sergeant, and 50 marines.  They are complimented by a temple ship who is commanded by a captain, first mate, and 50 sailors who fill in the positions aboard the ship.  Each sub legion also keeps a priest and arcanist as well.

Equipment

All sub legions maintain a steady stock of provisions, basic gear, maintenance equipment for ships and siege gear as well as a fully supplied armory.  Many of the marines are outfitted in medium and heavy armor while on land and lighter armor for shipboard combat.  They each train with individually preferred weaponry.

The Platinum Order chain of command is as follows:

Each individual legions priest and arcanist serve at the pleasure of the Commander and/or Captain and answer directly to them.

Tactics

Tactics vary from legion to legion based on what their mission is and what opposition they are facing.

Training

Each recruit is hand picked by Legion commanders and/or captains and under go a grueling 7 month training regimen of land and sea warfare training and small unit tactics.  Each class graduates approximately 30% of starting recruits due to the severity of the training.
