Session 1: A Land of Wonder Report

General Summary

Crong, Jory, and Imilia arrive in Beoford via ship. Jory has been sea sick for most of the trip. After disembarking they make their way further in town where they notice several flyers showing missing persons. They travel to the False Fox tavern where they get a room and Jory after having a drink passes out in his plate. Imilia discovers a new wine that is experimental and made of cabbage. Theo meets Truffle, a goblin as she enters his shop and purchases a book of faeries. Through perusing the book she discovers that some of the pages are blank. Gathering his new book, 'Snow Lily' they travel to the False Fox for drinks and a meal Marella travels from the Evocation tower on an errand for her master for rheumatoid medicine. As she disembarks from the airship she is bumped by a mysterious figure. She makes her way to Temeko's shop where she overhears Temeko and Milao discussing the disappearance of Shandalar, Milao's sister and Temeko's apprentice. She agrees to help locate Shandalar and is given 60 gp by Milao to help hire some aide. She there after makes her way to the False Fox. Crong discusses with Marella about his quest to find his family's ancient homeland of Deren'zuil, which the only information anyone can recall is it's in the central mountain range somewhere. After discussing with the new comers along with Truffle and Theo it's agreed that they will help locate the missing girl and plan on setting out in the morning. A griffin ambuses them after they make a wrong turn. The party soundly defeats it after Truffle restrains it. The party assumes the griffin is the cause for the missing Shandalar. After the battle they discovered a weakened griffin chick and try to decide what to do with it. The party finally gets back on track eventually ending overlooking Three Rivers
