The Creation of Eleril

The world of Eleril was initially a sparkling marble of a world with many oceans and plentiful land with various biomes. Initially it only consisted of small creatures that hunted to survive and ate what vegetation that was available. In it's orbit were four moons with dragon guardians and they were: Jillia, Praximia, Xarava, and Zerias.
After a time the first war came to Eleril in the form of elemental primordials that arrived. In what is now known as The Primordial wars, the primordials split themselves into two factions those that were corrupted and those that sought to protect Eleril from their brethren. The corrupted primordials were led Shanika, a giant primordial built of fire and stone. Using his corruptive energies he empowered the other three, Thorizun, Cresselvex, and Aurion, and urged them into ultimate destruction and to mold the world into something pleasing to them. The protectors, led by Phylectra a mighty water elemental, fought back with Kumali, Derina, and Tahana seeking to protect the paradise world they had located. The began waging war on each other for supremacy. With the powers that infested the world, seas receded and land masses changed growing closer together. Some of the corrupted primordial energy bled into space striking Xarava and Zerias and effecting it's guardians.
Each of the guardians came to lend aid and chose their sides respectively with Mammyl and Abon now showing signs of the corruption themselves. With the corrupted primordials pressing the advantage and seeing the potential of loss, the elementals trying to protect Eleril chose to create potential aid in the form of 14 new creations to preserve the balance. Their 14 creations were 2 humans, 4 dwarves, 4 elves, 2 gnomes, and 2 halflings. Derina molded the bodies of their new creations from the earth creating them carefully giving them individuality and naming them to be representatives of the races they were sure to create. Phylectra circulated a bit of her water into the newly formed bodies to provide them with the life blood they would need. Tahana took her air and breathed life into their lungs. And finally Kumali sealed them in his blazing fires to make them complete as the mighty Bieshulla and Illis fought their corrupted brethren. As the ritual completed itself giving life to the new creations some of the creative energies bled over and touched the blood of the fighting dragons causing them to spawn creations of their own. From the blood that had spattered on the soil came smaller versions of the mighty beasts and a smaller humanoid form, all showing various colors and qualities. Those showing the colors of red, black, green, white, blue all showed the corruptive signs of their heritage while those with a metallic sheen appeared to move into protective lines to lend aid and protect the guardian primordials. With the aid of their new found allies the defending primordials beat the corrupted ones back opening a portal to what is now known as the Elemental Causeway and sealed them to sleep in respective planes of existence seperating them from each other.
Seeing that their creations were thriving and set to rule over Eleril, the protectors adjourned to the elemental planes establishing representatives of themselves as guardians and then they too fell into slumber.
