Ario Takshin
A brave adventurer who used to work with The Golden Griffon Adventuring Company where he achieved the rank of Veteran before retiring to explore the world on his own. He was silent and direct, not only in his mannerisms but also in the use of his bow.
Personal History
Ario was raised in a small village in western Elladonia, a simple town with a basic lifestyle. There, life was peaceful and he was taught to hunt by other rangers. Food was always a problem for the small village, so the extra bit of food acquired by hunters and foragers could be easily sold in the town to pay for the necessities one would need for a basic style of life. With years of time and practice, Ario quickly became the villages best ranger, rarely having a day with an unsuccessful hunt. Life was good until one fateful day when bandits walked into the village, demanding any wealth possessed by the villagers before lighting the fields and a few houses on fire to instill fear in the citizens to have them comply with their threats. Seeing the fire rising from the town, Ario rushed back to the village, leaving behind the game he had killed for the day as well as any items that would slow him down. But he arrived too late. Upon his arrival, there was little left of the village. The houses were collapsing, the grains in the fields were long since turned to ash and the bandits were rejoicing over the money they had made from their plundering. Everything the villagers had spent their entire lives working towards was taken or destroyed in that very moment. Ario hid in the forest until the bandits had left what was left of his village. The scent of burning wood, flesh and death was all he could feel as he buried the dead, praying to the gods for forgiveness as he had not helped them. Leaving the village some time later, he was faced with the dread of having lost his family and his home. All he had left was his weapons and a burning desire to put an end to any bandits he would come across. With the intent to prevent other villages from facing the tragedy of his hometown he headed out into the world, travelling through the Elladonian forests while heading eastward. Eventually he reached the city of Dameril, where he stopped to buy supplies. There he heard of an adventuring company seeking brave adventurers to help improve the lives of those in the region and decided to join them. He saw the guild as an opportunity to get paid while also working towards his revenge.
