Doran Flintpeak

An old man working at The Arcanium Index who specialises in languages, ancient texts and magical writing. He often holds lectures on these topics, and while he joined as a divination wizard and occasionally tries to improve his spellcasting but he lacks talent. He was however always good with languages and managed to get a job lecturing others in them.
While some of his classes are more popular than others, many students have a tendency to fall asleep during his classes since he often begins rambling. He can also find it frustrating how so few are interested in the ancient languages, scared that the knowledge of how to speak and read them might die out with time. Saying things like: "Kids these days have little appreciation for the magic of the past, and it is because of those same kids that so much knowledge is lost today."
Many consider him to be a grumpy old man that generally resents other mages because they are better than him at magic.
