Dwarf

During The Great Disaster the Dwarves hid themselves in the mountains. They dug their way in and built cities within the mountain. This saved them from the decay and a large amount of monsters roaming about, but the lack of food was still an issue. They were forced to live on whatever they could find down in the mountains, and whatever they dared to venture out to scavenge when the opportunity arose. A diet consisting of fungi, moss and coal was certainly not the most healthy thing they could eat. But they were left without much of a choice.
Because of this unusal diet they were forced to take up, their bodies developed to be somewhat more resistant to toxins. Which today mainly makes it much more difficult for them to get drunk.
