House Brightfeather

A well respected noble house who found their home in Alterwood. Before they became nobles they were a family of scholars that aided the crown in whatever ways they could, and today they still have quite a bit of influence within The Arcanium Index, despite few of them practicing magic today.
Most of their income comes from the taxes they collect on the lands they control, most of it coming from Saxondale.

Family History

House Brightfeather has for a very long time been funding magical research within Elladonia while also partaking in some of the studies as well. While few of them dabble in the magical arts today, The Arcanium Index still considers them valuable members of their organisation, and will work to uphold relations with the house.
They have a rather dull history up until recent years where Hector Brightfeather began involving himself with The Poisoned Pen, aiding them in targeting, assassinating and taking down rotten nobles who involved themselves with heinous crimes such as extortion, human trafficking, torture or similar crimes. He raised his daughter Annalise Brightfeather with the sole intention of having her continue working with The Poisoned Pen to make Alterwood a better place for anyone living in it.
While working as informants from the shadows, Hector and Annalise put themselves in danger with the hopes of a better future.
