Nicholas (Nuyr) of Archley

Nicholas is a bold and daring adventurer who used to be a part of The Golden Griffon Adventuring Company in Dameril. While he might seem hard to approach due to his tendencies of being vary of his surroundings and those around him, those who know him describe him as honest, brave and kind. Though he has a tendency to give off a somewhat harsh and cold first impression. He suddenly went missing after a mission with the Golden Griffon, seemingly vanishing out of thin air and no one seems to know what happened to him. whether he is dead or alive remains unknown.

Personal History

Nicholas was an orphan that was adopted by a Dragon Hunter named Phraan Famenor. Everything Nicholas knows he was taught by Phraan, who had made Nicholas his successor in the next generation of Dragon Hunters. His nickname; Nuyr, was also granted to him by Phraan. But in his test of courage and strength, when faced with a real dragon named Yan'Daro; Nicholas died. While Nicholas himself is unaware of his death, his soul and spirit has already left this realm and been replaced with a condensation of his memories, letting him remain himself despite his soul being lacking. As such, magic used to detect undead will alert the caster of Nicholas' connection to undeath, but will not explain why or how. When Nicholas awoke after his fight with Yan'Daro, he was alone. Abandoned by his master in the forest near The Endron Crater, he travelled to Dameril and joined The Golden Griffon Adventuring Company to keep himself financially afloat in civilization. Nicholas' disappearance was caused by his usage of a teleportation scroll which he had been given from a mysterious woman named Shirley. The scroll brought him to a large strange mansion in the woods owned by a man named Hairen Wintersword, the father of Shirley. Surprised to find a stranger on his land, the man was close to having Nicholas' memories altered before sending him off, but Nicholas managed to convince him he could be of use to the man. Nicholas was given one chance to bring about results and the man created multiple clones of him to ensure Nicholas' survival if he proved to be an asset to him.
