The Syndicate

The most famous of the world's criminal organizations, known for it's slave trade market and it's production of the well-known drugs Nightdust and Feyroot. They are difficult to come into direct contact with, and makes most of their deals with a middle man who then passes on their goods to other sources. This middle man is highly likely someone well known, but there is no evidence connecting them to The Syndicate. Someone with a foot into the criminal world might know their name, but to the public this name remains unknown. If one would buy Nightdust of Feyroot it has highly likely passed through the hands of several drug dealers since it left the hands of either The Syndicate or the aforementioned middleman.
The Syndicate are also famous for taking actions against nobles and businesses. Doing deals with them in the shadows or controlling them from behind the scenes, there have also been incidents of The Syndicate trashing and burning individuals homes or shops of those who fail to pay them their debts. Sadly there is no clear proof on who is involved with The Syndicate, so kingdoms and other organizations have very few means to step against them.
