The Threads of Magic

One of the many theories of what magic is and comes from states that Irene uses her own blood to spin invisible threads which she then sends down to the mortal planes. One cannot feel the threads and one cannot see the threads, but they are there. Casters across the planes move and interact these thin threads with their words and their movements, allowing them to perform the miracles of magic.
They say that life itself brings about magic, caused by everyday things and beings moving these threads. Many even believe that one can cast magic without being aware of what you are doing or how you are doing it.
