Ridding Garmsby of Darklings

Civil action

A group of adventurers travelled into the forest outside Garmsby, as several people had been scared by strange, short people roaming about the forest and cackling in a strange language. They learnt that Darklings had stepped into the forest through a gateway that had temporarily opened from the Feywilds. The Darklings were adamant about finding a way to destroy the sun, as the sun was and has always been their greatest enemy.

Hale Frostwind, Flou, a curious Halfling that has since left the guild and another adventurer headed into the forest where they soon encountered the Darklings. They tried to communicate with them but ultimately struck a large group of them down before speaking to their leader.   Sneaking into their hideout they killed some rare snakes which they found an egg belonging too, which they ended up selling to Althaea Amastacia. It seems the snakes were only protecting their nest.   Inside their hideout they eventually found the Darkling Elder, who seemed unwilling to abandon the quest his people had been fighting for since the birth of his kind, and the adventurer's ended up killing him and his kin in that cave before reporting on the curious incident to The Golden Griffon Adventuring Company.
