Malia
Malia Dimi (a.k.a. Ditzy Dimi)
Malia is a human wizard, one of the remaining two on the council in Heawick. She wants to make the world a better place, and believes lightning can be used to do this.
Malia has always lived in Heawick, and was childhood friends with Rarder; they often trained and fought and learned together. She was given a position on the Mage Council several years after Rarder, as her skittish and erratic nature often made it difficult for her to learn and adapt. She then took a position allocating housing and sorting the more menial problems of Heawick, while Rarder monitored the more direct threats.
Malia is a human with long purple hair and golden eyes. She wears flowing silk robes and often gets her clothing from another, more prosperous town, as Brieinge isn't skilled enough to make clothes of enough grandeur for Malia. She wields a Staff of Thunder and Lightning, and she has an arcane familiar, Mer, a silver cat which can generate tiny bolts of lightning as it runs, often seen as a grey streak along the floor, rarely resting in one place. She loves a challenge and thunderstorms, and hates summer, often complaining of the heat. She is quite quick spoken, and rushes a lot and is prone to erratic behaviour, hence her nickname 'Ditzy Dimi'.
