Arctic Jackalope
While jackalopes are common throughout Eliosara, the arctic variation is only found in the northern most reaches, with the colder temperatures allowing the hare to grow to the size of a horse. Even at their large size, the arctic jackalope has retained much of its agility and speed. Combining that with their adept ability to navigate snowy and rocky terrain, they make ideal mounts for explorers and travels in the Treal and Wardruna. Unlike horses, the arctic jackalopes are not as intelligent, so domesticating them has proven a bit more challenging, and very rarely does one bond with its owner.
