Cosmic Timepiece

One of the few Pre-Cosmic Schism artifacts to exist, they are exceedingly rare. No more than a dozen have been found. Even though they are at least 4000 years old, they show very little sign of wear. This being the case, it took a particularly harrowing casting of the Legend Lore ritual to even learn of its approximate age. Any information beyond had has yet to be discerned.

Its design is an amalgumation of an astrolobe, pocketwatch, and compass, shwoing traits of each item. Covered in odd symbols, with erratic interval markings and innaccurate constelaltions, the cosmic timepeice attrats the attion of wizards and collectors alike.

The most powerful mages and learned scholars have been experimenting with and studying these are artifacts since the discovery of the first one in the Second Era, and no function has been revealed. And their locations of the cosmic timepieces has shone no clue to their purpose. They have been found deep in the Marching Ocean, buried beneath the sands of Muqad, and stowed away in the trunk of an ancient manor in Si-Lin Archipelago. Scattered all over the world, the cosmic timepiece remains on of the greatest mysteries to some, and an exceedingly expensive paperweight to others.
