Dher
Dher are a cousin to bulls and bison, but instead living in plains and hills, dher live deep within mountain caverns and dark tunnels. One of the few native species to the Great Below, dher are commonly used by Drudarr and Drow as beasts of burden. Living underground, dher have no eyes, instead relying on their keen sense of smell, and sensitivity to vibrations in the ground. Unlike most other Bovine, the dairy produced by the dher is notably bitter, but highly nutritious. Often dher milk is combined with a natura sweetener to mask the taste. Their diet primarily consists of mushrooms, algae from groundwater sources, and the many types of deep-mosses that grow in caverns.
