House Vallius

Once the ruling family of one of the greatest kingdoms on Eliosara, House Vallius has fallen far. The prestigious legacy the began with Mercias Vallius slowly dwindled over the centuries, but it came to a catastrophic crash when Domitius Vallius succeeded the throne.

Corrupted to his core, Domitus was as cruel as he was stupid. He angered allied states, drained kingdom coffers, and took advantage of his subjects to an unprecedented degree for the Kingdom of Tel. And when the people cried out, House Vallius doubled down.

In the year 1119 of the Third Era, their reckoning came. A rebellion began. A rebellion backed by many of the major houses of the kingdom, and soon the kingdom was plunged into civil war. Ultimately House Vallius lost, and Many other major houses, which had sided, were greatly diminished, loosing much of their land and wealth. But no house suffered as much as Vallius. All but one member of House Vallius was slain in the many battles, with the King himself being assassinated by his own Blade. Their lands and titles taken, most of their riches returned to the people, and the only remaining member, Gias Vallius.

However, the current ruling family, House Tristunjark, has held fast the premise that they are no more than stewards of the throne, and that one day, House Vallius may return to their former glory as rulers of The Kingdom of Tel.

In their golden years, House Vallius was a champion of justice and chivarly. They lead a shattered kingdom to glory, unifiying lost peoples, and redefining what it means to be a servant king.
