The Heralds of the Seasons

The Heralds of the Seasons are a quartet of powerful nature spirits. In the early days, the seasons on Eliosara were angry and malevolent toward each other. There was no balance or pattern. Winter would kill Springs blossoms, Summer would warm the air, keeping Fall from turning the leaves, and so on. Sarapheth saw this and was saddened. She sought out the most noble and pure nature spirits and them transformed them into powerful demi-gods capable of monitoring and controlling the seasons.

The four work in tandem, seeking to respect the balance of nature by cycling through the seasons. But as it goes with nature, some seasons, and therefore its Herald, has more influence in certain regions. The Heralds are Sarapheth's most powerful servants, and often take her place when interacting with mortal worshippers.
