Network Stations

Network Stations are buildings designed to broadcast, accept, and monitor digital information signals within Trium and its local provinces. They are strategically placed throughout several areas to maximize broadcast coverage.

Purpose / Function

It is a hub for digital information to flow into and from.

Architecture

Most network stations are of a minimalist design; two-story square shaped structures made of concrete and reinforced ceramic material. They have few windows that are small and also reinforced for security purposes. Access is electronically controlled, usually by combination of biometrics, key access, and input codes.    Uncommon stations are built within an existing structure and are also reinforced for security.

Defenses

Every station has reinforced walls to protect against possible explosives breach or direct attack. While not full proof, they act as a deterrent in order to buy time for response forces to arrive.   All internal doors are key activated and are coded for the specific station personnel working there. In order for other station operators to gain access , they must fill out a formal request for entry and access, stating their reason for being and length of stay on premises.
