The Polar revenant
" I remember the tales of the Polar revenant my mom used to tell me. Everytime i heard them, i would get scared beyond belief. I dearly do hope that we don't encounter these beings any soon." The Argonite emperor Argo Larius, speaking about the tales of the polar revenants. The tale of the polar revenant is a popular one that is used by Argonite parents to scare their children. The tale itself concerns an undead creature known as the polar revenant, rumoured to roam the cold and eterally frozen northern polar areas of Elladia which come down southwards during every full moon to haunt the people living in those lands. It has proved a common folk tale amongst the Argonites as well, who reminscne and sometimes make up their own details about the polar revenants.
Summary
The main part of the myth largely revolves around a legendary and mythical undead creature known as the Polar revenant, a mighty being that is rumoured to roam the northern polar region of Elladia. During full moons, the polar revenant is rumoured to move Southwards, even going as far south as to Argonite territory and haunting the inhabitants of those places. Not many people know why the Polar revenant does this but there are speculations that this creature is a symbol of the hatred most undead beings bear for the Argonites for their mistreatment of Undead before the formation of Tenebria
Historical Basis
The origin of this myth comes from Argonite veterans who have survived battles against the undead forces of Tenebria and have actually seen a revenant. Due to the northerly location of the kingdom, a common term for all revenants by these soldiers are polar revenants. These creatures are known for the sheer terror they instill in their enemies with their bellowing screams, brutal ways of combat and nigh invulnerability, being the main shock troops of the Tenebrian undead legions

Well, it took long enough for me to come up with some criticism here.
Over all, I like your post, otherwise I wouldn't have clicked the like button. But for me it is a bit too much reduced to the essential. Especially with myths and legends I prefer it around, even if it's hard for me sometimes. Nevertheless, I would like to know when the story first appeared, whether there are possibilities to escape the undead or something similar.
At this point I like to think of the fairy tales. "The fairies fetch the child if this and that is not done". Especially with a legend that is supposed to make children behave there should be a "if not" in my eyes. "The undead will get you if you don't do your homework well."
I like the quote at the beginning very much, however, which gives an introduction to the fact that the legend is also spread in the highest circles. All in all, it's an article that can tolerate a bit more "fluff" at some ends, but was written very well.
Keep it up!Vampire loving servant of several chaotic forces.
