Magic Husks

Magic husks are the carcasses of magic Users/Creatures who has been hollowed (Infected by a parasitic fungus) without treatment, they resemble a tangled mass of vines and bark in the form of whatever creature was hollowed. In the center of the husk there is a "heart" (collection of ganglia) which is suspended with vines. They will attack any signs of magic. They have the ability to unweave their "body" and wrap around objects.

It lives in humid/wet environments that are cooler, It will begin to die off in warm/tropical environments.

The infected have no physical senses (hearing, sight), but they can sense magic.

Conservation Status
His is a highly dangerous parasitic fungus that feeds on magic and will take over the body. If you are showing signs of being hollowed you must seek high level medical magic, but if you are unfortunate, the infection and appendage will be cut off.
