General Summary
Aeon's Avendgers took some time to recover from their brush with a shell shark and Freya took some time to heal and recover from her serious injuries. During this time everyone takes a short rest except for Flimp who tires his hand at fishing again. This time Flimp gets some kind of strange looking clear fish. It seems shimmering, translucent, and fish like but with extra legs. As he holds it in his hands he asks Funda, their boat driver if he knows what the fish is. Funda suggests it's just a clear fish and that he could just leave it on the boat if he doesn't want it. Chronos picks up on Funda's strange body language and after a little intimidation from the dragonborn Funda admits that what Flimp has caught is a water bear, it is very rare catch and worth quite a bit of coin since consuming a water bear has the same effects as consuming a potion of supreme healing.
Calista wakes up from their nap and tossed a line down. After waiting a bit their line snagged and Calista pulled up a pair of gloves, and because the group no longer trusted their navigator Funda, Freya used itentify to learn these gloves were for aiding someone in swimming and climbing. Irabella also tossed their pole in the water and brought up an a sparkling, shimmering fish that was cold to touch. It was an Ice Diamond fish and it's scales are used to create invisibilitiy potions.
Chornos was excited by all the neat catches people were getting and tossed their make-shift dagger on a rope on a stick back into the ocean, this time using a piece of berry tart as bait. They felt a big tug on the line and began to tug back. Flimp with his keen perception noticed the boat was moving slightly different and felt some soft tapping on the bottom of the boat. Curious he jumped in and discovered a large crab with mushrooms growing out of it's back attaching itself to the bottom of the boat. Flimp suddenly felt very tired, but he was able to shake off the sudden extreme sleepyness and report back to the rest of his group that there was a giant crab under the boat. Chronos then quickly discovered it was a giant grab attached to their line too. Irabella flew above the boat to get a better vantage point and tried to put the crab on the boat to sleep, the crab seemed to resist this. Chronos and Freya focused on the crab attached to Chronos' line smashing it with their club and hitting with eldrich blast making relativly quick work of the strong thing. Calista turned into a purple reef shark to see if they could help, but quickly realized the crab on the boat was a big threat and tried to jump back on the boat in their shark form but accidently hit the boat, deciding to just transform back into their humanoid form when the crab on the boat grabbed up their navigator. As everyone started to converge on the crab on the boat a third crab started to rise up from the water and sneak up behind them. The original boat crab tried and succeeded to put Funda to sleep and Chronos was just barely able to resist the effects. It was then quickly dispatched. The third crab scooped up Funda and immediately attempted to vacate the boat with their perceived easy meal. Calista jumped back into their purple reef shark form, and all the party memebers moved to concentrate on saving their navigator from certain death. The deep crab dove 20 feet under water and Freya grabbed Chronos and thunder stepped to right in front of the crab. Chronos attepmpted to shove their stick through the crabs maw but failed, as the crab attempted to continue it's descent to escape the party Chronos was able to use sentile to hold it still and kill the creature. Freya and Chronos brought the crab and Funda back to surfance where the decision was made to return to the docks.
Funda, quite angry that the party let him get in so much danger and in a lot of pain was dependent on the party to actually steer the boat home since he was very injured. Chornos attempted first, making many of the riders sea sick. Flimp attempted to steer but was still struggling. Finally Freya took over and was able to guide them home safely. The group towed two of the large crab corpses behind the boat on ropes and Calista swam behind to make sure their fresh catches stayed with them.
Once the group made land fall they asked Funda where they might sell some of the extrodinary things they caught. Funda was reluctant to assit any further but named off some places they could make some decent coin.
The group first stopped by The Fish Market and sold off a majority of their walrus meat and crab meat. They then went down to Queen Of Pelts to sell some of the walrus hide and one of their ivory tusks.
