9-15-23, The Black Hole and Wailing Hermit
General Summary
After meeting the High Priest at the Central Temple in town, the party decdied to approach the owners of The Burning Clove to ask for information about the Hag on the Outside of town. On their way to The Burning Clove Calista fell out of a black portal with no sense of how much time had passed. Once arriving at the Burning Clove Ikoth directed them upstairs to wait with Elgus to have a private conversation where it was revealed that Elgus and Ikoth were waiting for a team of 5 from the Seven Crown Seekers to come through town to hopefully help deal with the Hag. The team realized that they were the group that Elgus was waiting on this whole time. Elgus and the party carefully discussed their involvement with the 7 Crown Seekers and both agreed to a tentative "don't ask don't tell" situation in exchange for the party creating a plan to help Elgus attempt to kill the hag from the outside of town.
The party returned to The Rightous Steed and spent the evening trading secrets where Gylas revealed that the key that Flimp carries opens a box stored at Melenko's house in Manomay.
The next morning the party took 4 horses out for the Steedtamer family to do a final test of temperment before the horses could be sold. On their way out to the Windy Knoll Vineyard they were attacked by a Wailing Hermit. They defeated the hermit and looted its corpse and stored it in the Bag of Hoarding they fond on it's body.
