Institute of Gifted Artisans
The Institue of Gifted Artisans is not only one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, it is a place of great culture. Every year hundreds of artists travel to the Institue to pitch their art to it's curator, Barda Dustone, an elderly man with an eye for art. Barda is getting up in age, and citizens of Manomay and beyond have been growing curious over the fate of the Institue once he passes as he has no delcared heir or known children.
Purpose / Function
A place where people come to view and purchase art, or where artists come to show, display, and sell their works. The gallery rotation changes every season with some pieces being more permanent insulations that come out during seasonal rotations, and others come and go as they are bought and sold.
Architecture
This three story castle like building stands shining in the Hills of Plenty with it's white and cream stone work and cobalt blue roof. The building features 4 tourrets, three spanning just the two upper stories and one starting from the ground floor. The front door is painted to match the stand out cobalt blue roofing.
Tourism
The Institue is busy, it opens daily from 10am until 3pm for the general public to walk through, take tours, and enjoy the artists. Special guests and honorable regulars are often invited to visit after general hours to look at pieces, and the Institue hosts regular evening events every few weeks to promote pieces and conduct auctions.
