She appears as a spider deep within a web, pulling strings and weaving webs. Her followers are inspired to do a lot of the same, manipulating the arcane currents and bending it to match their will. Mystera is the goddess of spell creation and weaving, and her patrons look to her for inspiration and guidence leaving her offerings and reaching a meditative status during deep research.

Temples for Mystera

Mystera does not simply request an alter of her loyalists, but lingers most in temples built and dedicated to her. Her reclusive and shadowy nature driving her followers sometimes underground or in caves. She herself is constantly seeking out large sources of arcane energy, and so her temples are often constructed in places where the magic in the land is heavy, often opressive feeling. They are typically adorned with candles, burning inscence, and carvings of the goddess in her spider form.
