God of Creatures Oris (a.k.a. Creature Keeper)

Worship of Oris

Oris' influence is most seen in places where the folk of Ellon have not often put their feet. He tends and cares for all the living creatures throughout the land. They may not have been given the same spark of life and sentience that the folk of Ellon have, but they are no less dear to him. Those who seek the presence of Oris also tend to have a profound love of nature and creatures. To worship Oris is to donate acts of service to the creatures that are small. To tend a hatchling whoes mother has been fell to a predator, to brace the leg of a rabbit who has injured itself, or to remove the thorn from the wing of an owl.

Alters of Oris

You won't find an alter of Oris in your nearest city, but you might find one in the woods outside of it. Often adorned with skulls and antlers, these are humble places created at the sites of fallen trees, broken boulders, or in small gardens. You'll recognize the symbol of the white owl's face carved in the space and that's how you recognize it as a holy place. Passerby's are often compelled to leave flowers, seeds, and nuts as they pass through as treats to the small animals he values so much.
