Those who have come to follow Otele are typically of draconic decent. When Otele answers prayers she often leaves flower petals in her place, peonies, roses, and lilacs. Followers often reach out to her when the moons are out and shining bright, it's said she can hear prayers better on nights with clear skies. Followers may create alters for her at home using paintings of her likeness and small statues carved to resemble her, and are often decorated with candles, floral inscence and flowers. Some followers seek out to find and create Shrines to her in remote and often dangerous places to ask for her protection and to honor her desire for freedom and space.

One might stumble upon a place of honor to Otele in only the most remote places. While people who worship the Mother of Dragons may keep tokens of her in their homes, or create private alters to her, she is known to embrace her freedom. You can find shrines built to honor her in remote mountian outcroppings, hidden in valleys, or sequestered in caves and caverns. Often Otele's shrines depict the mother herself, a white dragon and roses, peonies, and lilacs. Otele is often depicted at night, as if she has come to sing the viewer a lullaby to rest where she might guard them all night.
