Rhedis, The God of Remembrance
The God of Remembrance Rhedis
Worship of Rhedis
One does not seek our Rhedis in any direct sort of way, Rhedis finds you. More specfically, Rhedis finds your loved ones in the after. It is out of love and devotion to an ancestor or love and devotion to a family line that wins the affections of Rhedis. It is a deal struck between the dead and him to promise that their family is worthy. Through Rhedis, an ancestor taps into the source and is able to give their ancestors magical powers, as long as their family line remains strong and devoted. If a family starts to stray from their values and virtues, if a family begins to sour the reputation of the dead who struck the bargin to begin with, then Rhedis will take his blessings away.Temples of Rhedis
You won't find any Temples to Rhedis, but Rhedis' blessings are found in every devoted family's temple, graveyard, or mausoleum. It is the dead who worship Rhedis, and exchange their family's devotion, admiration, and reputation in exchange for allowing them to bestow blessings and gifts to their living ancestors.Divine Symbols & Sigils
