Worship of Shade

Shade, the faceless and deathless requires sacrifice. Often Shade may reach out to those seeking revenge or struggling with unimaginable loss. He asks for a pieces of your soul, and trades your grief for power. People extremely dedicated to Shade can even communicate with the dead. While Worship of Shade is not banned everywhere, it's often looked down upon and his servants tend to keep themselves shrouded in secrecy.

Temples of Shade

It's not often one stumbles across a temple dedicated to Shade. Alters and Temples dedicated to him tend to be hidden in remote or highly guarded places that the average citizen may not know how to locate. People familiar with Shade and his prefrences know the signs to look for. All of his templs and alters contain some similiar elements though. Typically you'll find a sacrifical alter, a statue or statuatte of a veiled and faceless figure, and if you happen to be there when his servants are gathered you'll be greeted by masked veiled bodies.
