The Confection Connection
The confection connection is a lively space filled with surprisingly bright colors and the smell of yeast is the first thing that hits you. The air is warm, likely from all the burning stoves behind the half wall that seperates the front of the shop from a visible back work room. At the counter there are several loaves of bread wrapped in brown paper in baskets, and small brown bags tied with ribbons also seperated into different baskets. The floors are stone but have been painted in checker patterns in blue and white, the wooden counter painted a lively purple color, and the walls are cover in beauitful murals that depict gardens, flowers, and butterflies.
